We are sorry to inform you that we need to recall all plugs that use a USB Mains Charger and have the words ‘Travel Charger’ or the code ‘DE 62347066’ on them with immediate effect. All of the following products purchased from us between 01/12/2007 and 20/07/2008 are affected by this action:

Certain models of P-787 Mains USB Charger for Samsung YP-Z5, YP-T10 and Other
Certain models of P-848 Mains Charger for Creative Zen

Certain models of P-644 Mains Charger for Creative Zen V and Zen V Plus
Certain models of P-554 Mains Charger for Creative Zen Vision M and Zen Vision W
Certain models of P-660 Mains Charger for iRiver X20, B20 and U20 Clix2
Certain models of P-627 iPod Shuffle Mains Charger (2nd Generation)
Certain models of P-084 iPod Shuffle USB Mains Charger (1st Generation)
Can we please reassure customers that this is a precautionary measure only as we haven’t experienced any issues with the above stock. It follows the recall notice from Trading Standards found here: http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk:80/cgi-bin/newsitem.cgi?file=safe1008.txt&area=safe
Our suppliers have confirmed that all of this stock is 100% CE, LVD & PCB approved and the following safety checks took place prior to all goods being shipped and sold:
- Voltage regulation
- Current detection
- PCB match against CE document from the manufacturer
However, as a safety precaution we have instigated this recall.
