3D Secure is a new anti-fraud system developed by Visa and MasterCard to further secure transactions over the Internet. It is also known as Verified By Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. The system allows you to create a password to authenticate card transactions placed online. This ensures that no one else will be able to use your card fraudulently online as they will not know your password. Porta-Charge.co.uk are pleased to announce that we now provide this service, making shopping with us even more secure!

To sign up to the scheme, click on the link below and you will be presented with a list of banks. Select the bank that issued your card and you will be prompted to create a password for your card. This can be done for most credit and debit cards. Then once signed up to the scheme, simply shop with us as normal. During the final part of the checkout process you will then be asked to enter your password to verify you as the genuine cardholder.
